Design<\/meta><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Each model is designed in Blender and printed on a Monoprice Voxel (retired), Flashforge Creator 3 (retired), Bambu P1S, Bambu A1 and A1 mini. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally called the WisCapMini, the project changed names after a pun made on the r\/madisonwi subreddit<\/a>. Early iterations are slightly different than the current version being distributed. Each Mini WI can be considered a prototype as different iterations improving production continue to be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distribution<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Mini WI are distributed primarily by the artist and occasionally via trusted delegates. Most are placed in Little Free Libraries or around the Wisconsin State Capitol Square. Locations are intentionally chosen so that the Mini WI are found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candy is included with the bag not only to aid in finding, but to weigh the bag down so that it does not move if placed outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clues are sometimes provided on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artist<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Ken Fager is a character, vintage computing tinkerer, whiskey drinker, Geeks Who Drink host, and an avid photographer<\/a> that resides in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. His work often focuses on his immediate surroundings, free speech, controversy, abandonment, and sometimes delves into the experimental. He has programmed a fully working Apple II video game<\/a>, hosted a podcast<\/a>, adventured to Chernobyl<\/a>, speaks German, and wears physical scars from his misadventures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
