The semester ends in two weeks and the finals rush has officially begun. For the next two weeks I will become intimate with one of Radford lab’s 800 MHz G4 iMacs with a yellowed keyboard and Microsoft mouse. The worst thing that could happen right now would be if I accidently found a Nintendo Wii.<\/p>\n
Astute readers may already know that I plan to spend the next semester abroad in Germany. The problem with this little plan is that Marburg University has yet to return their reply to my application. I have been waiting anxiously for months. It just became easier to tell people that I was going to study abroad than explain the whole situation.
\nI’m still officially enrolled in classes here at Oshkosh next semester. Why? Because the semester in Germany would not begin until April and again, I still have not received word from them. So what am I to do with my time when the semester ends in two weeks? I’ve been looking for a job, but no one is hiring. Do I bother buying books for next semester only to drop the courses here at Oshkosh? Do I move in with my parents (shudder) for the time until I leave? I do not have the money to shack of up in Greunhagen at $240\/month for almost three months. The German universities have been calling my references. Hopefully they come through soon.<\/p>\n
