This weekend I will be in beautiful Weimar, Th\u00fcringia, which was once part of the former Deutsche Demokratische Republik. It has been my goal to visit one of the camps and I am making it a point to do so during this visit. <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"KL-Buchenwald\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Buchenwald\">KL-Buchenwald<\/a> is 10 km from the center of the city.
