So I purchased two of them and decided to cut them open for science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surprise! They&#8217;re a scam. There is no converter for USB to FireWire because they are incompatible standards. What I found inside these adapters was nothing but some adhesive and mismatched wires.
