This barn was full of crates from Radford Ordinance Works located near Blacksburg, VA. The company opened in 1940 and was a military contractor for explosives. The location where these crates originated is now entered into the EPA’s website as a Superfund cleanup site.
Starin Hall Tour
UW-Whitewater staff goes on a tour of Starin Hall. The suite style residence hall will open for the Fall 2010 semester.
Hawk Bowl
I was just notified that my photo of the Hawk Bowl in Whitewater, WI will be hanging on the walls of the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame. I need to schedule a trip to Dallas Texas next summer.
