The Peter Cooper Glue Factory is located in Oak Creek, WI. The namesake of the factory invented Jell-O in the mid 1800’s. This site is currently being demolished.

The same day I shot an abandoned home in Caledonia, WI I returned to a an abandoned farm just outside of Baraboo. I had been to this trailer previously. But that day both my main camera and my backup had dead batteries.

This barn was full of crates from Radford Ordinance Works located near Blacksburg, VA. The company opened in 1940 and was a military contractor for explosives. The location where these crates originated is now entered into the EPA’s website as a Superfund cleanup site.
